As states across the country are taking precautions to mitigate the risk from COVID-19, it is of the utmost importance to us to remain proactive in our cleaning and disinfection guidelines and precautions through these times.
The hospitality industry’s sanitation procedures and cleanliness initiatives are more important than ever before, and we want to ensure your Tropitone products are properly protected by following these recommendations:
Cleaning and Sanitizing Surfaces
- Use soap in warm water, disinfectant wipes or solution at the appropriate concentration, apply on the surface to be treated by spray or non-abrasive cloth wipe and let it dry.
Disinfecting Surfaces
- Usually to disinfect surfaces, higher concentration of active ingredient is required. If 0.5% diluted bleach solution, 0.5% hydrogen peroxide or 70% alcohol are used for disinfection, the surface will not be affected.
- Apply by spraying the disinfectant on the powder coated surface and keep the surface wet for the recommended contact time (from 30 seconds to 10 minutes). Let the surface air dry.
Fabric Cleaning
- Prepare a cleaning solution with 1/4 cup (2 oz.) mild liquid soap in a gallon of lukewarm water. Clean fabric with the solution using a sponge or soft bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow to air dry.
We will continue to innovate, manufacture, and deliver products that meet the needs of our clients’ expectations.
